Urban Promise Honduras Mission is to inspire the children and youth of Honduras to fulfill their dreams by equipping them with the skills necessary for life management, academic achievement, spiritual growth and leadership rooted in the Christian faith.

UrbanPromise Honduras is the newest branch of the non-profit organization UrbanPromise International (www.urbanpromiseinternational.org) and works with under-privileged children and youth in the town of Copan Ruinas.

HondurasUrbanPromise Honduras will start running full-time in July 2009 offering:

Afterschool programs to both public and private school children. In a community that lacks opportunities and resources, the program will providing tutoring, ESL training, recreation, nutritional food, life skill development and teaching on Christian values and issues applicable to the community.

Leadership Development Program will develop youth into leaders by empowering them with job skills, opportunities for practice and scholarships for further education.

Summer Camps during both public and private school holidays, giving children a fun and high energy environment filled with activities.

•  The Miracle Foundation - a nonprofit humanitarian  organization
  dedicated to empowering children to reach their full potential, one orphan
  at a time in India.
  
  
• The Burma Connection - a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization
  providing comprehensive aid, support and programs to the people of Burma.
  Their efforts engage in supporting orphans, education, microfinance and more.
  
  
• Urban Promise Honduras - an organization serving Copan Ruinas,
  Honduras designed to inspire the children and youth by equipping them
  with the skills necessary for life management, academic achievement,
  spiritual growth and leadership rooted in Christian faith.
  
  
• El Maestro En Casa, Inc. -  an organization that seeks to empower
  the rural populations of the province of Intibucá, Honduras by offering
  them an efficient and participitave system of distance education,
